About Operation Gratitude
Founded in 2003 by Carolyn Blashek, OG is the US’s largest military services organization that sends care packages to deployed US military troops and their families. OG sends between 100K-150K care packages annually. Packages are filled with snacks, entertainment items, and personal letters of appreciation addressed to individually named US service members deployed in hostile regions, to their children left behind, and to Wounded Warriors recuperating in transition units.
